While I’m busy with the unexpected, I really didn’t expect Will Gardner to die. Just like that. (And I hope that’s no spoiler, because we’re years behind everyone else.)
After a summer of either watching nothing or working our way through Designated Survivor, The Good Wife was pushed aside. But with a week to go before all shows start up their new season, the Resident IT Consultant and I have Good Wifed it. Only halfway through season five, there is much more to go.
But it seems, no Will. ‘Did you know about this?’ asked the Resident IT Consultant, on the basis that I look ‘everything’ up. I didn’t. Because I also want to avoid spoilers.
I’d say I did pretty well with this little unexpectedness.
I see that this was considered [by some, at least] to have made The Good Wife not so good. I obviously don’t know yet, but I’d been getting irritated by the constant sniping between Will and Alicia. So maybe, but not necessarily.
But whatever, that was one excellently executed execution, so to speak.
