It’s David McCallum’s 78th birthday today. I wonder what it is that makes actors so happy – and able – to work to a high old age? Not saying Ducky is old, but to be able to play a man who is below retirement age is pretty good.
I hope David will continue as Ducky for many years to come. We can’t imagine NCIS without their resident Mallard. He may seem oblivious to his ‘boring’ chatter at times, but sometimes he is more than aware of the effect he has on people.
