Mary’s Boy Child is another Christmas song that I never listened to as a child. I like it in almost any version, but I like it best of all when Roger Whittaker sings it.
There is another Roger version on YouTube, but it’s a rather happy-clappy thing from two years ago, and the clip I’ve chosen is far more restrained and beautiful.
